Weblancers, formerly WeBlend, was a novel networking tool I used when attending events in Manchester.
Why give someone a business card when they can save it to their home screen, as an app?
Later developing into Weblancers, WeBlend was a networking tool I proudly showed off when I was first getting the grips with the massive potential of web-based applications.
This novel introduction was a light-hearted show of my design and UX skills, while also being an elevator pitch I wanted people to take away with them. Both in their phone, and memory.
It took me 7 months to lose 5st 7lbs. After so many failed attempts and labelling the task 'impossible' on numerous occasions, what made all the difference this time around?
I took things one week at a time and I became accountable. If I hit my goal by 41%, then I'f aim for 42% the week after. Pretty soon, I started to see results and as my positive new habits started to set, both myself and my training buddies knew when I was hooked.
